On July 29th, the Taiyuan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions in Shanxi Province launched an observation and exchange activity to create a "New Era Workers' Home". Zhang Lei, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Xue Zhidong, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and more than 60 members of the county and district trade unions, directly affiliated grassroots trade unions, and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions participated in the observation and exchange activity.

In order to exchange experience in the construction of a union worker's home, improve the level of integrated construction of "association, station, and home", and further promote the solid implementation of the "New Era Worker's Home" creation activity. The Municipal Federation of Trade Unions selected Taiyuan Silian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., Yangqu County Employee Activity Center, and Jiancaoping District Federation of Trade Unions Employee Activity Center as observation points for visits and exchanges.

The observation group first entered Taiyuan Silian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as Silian Heavy Industry), and Silian Heavy Industry's "New Era Demonstration Employee Home" was officially put into use on June 20, 2021.
